YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

The Zimpeto Children’s Centre is passionate about empowering youth and equipping them with practical skills for their future all while ministering to them the love and heart of Jesus. The centre offers various programs for their youth and community members, the most notable and long standing are the sewing room and the carpentry shop. In the sewing room, girls get to develop their creativity, artistic skills, and fine motor skills as they produce beautiful articles of clothing, purses, aprons and more. The carpentry shop seeks to train youth by teaching them how to construct cabinets, doors, tables, and more. This provides youth with an employable skill and meaningful work experience.

HISTORY

The Sewing Room was launched in 2008 and the carpentry shop was launched in 2007.
