DORMITORIES

The dorms at our children’s centre provide residential care to over 200 orphans and vulnerable children living at our centre. Once a child is brought into our care, our reintegration team decides which setting at our centre will best fit the specific needs and interest of the child or children. Children may be placed in our nursery, baby house, small family housing or in a dormitory. Emotional maturity, health, age, psycho-social development and physical development are all taken into consideration when determining the best place within our centre for the child’s temporary residential care.

HISTORY

In the early years of the centre there were over 500 children. From very humble and simple architectural beginnings, we are always looking for ways to improve our facilities and offer the best care possible.
